Golden Land Myanmar

Myanmar is a country in Southeast Asia and it is bordered by Bangladesh and India to its northwest, China to its northeast, Laos and Thailand to its east and southeast, and the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal to its south and southwest. Myanmar is the largest country in mainland south-east Asia and has a population of about 60 million. The biggest city is Yangon(Rangoo) but the capital is Nay Pyi Taw, and Burmese is the most commonly spoken language.

The country is home to more than 135 different ethnicities. If you look into the geography facts on Myanmar, you can see that a number of groups live in the different regions. Each has their own culture and traditions. You can find some with a special one legged rowing technique at Inle Lake and others wear heavy rings to stretch their necks. The main ethnic group, the Burma, make up about 70% of the populations.
